How to prepare for laser hair removal?
Necessary
- The day before the procedure, it is necessary to shave the area to be treated (1-2mm).
Forbidden
- Perform waxing or sugar hair removal no later than 2 weeks before the procedure.
- Antibiotic use should be completed at least 1.5 to 2 weeks before the procedure.
- Use creams and oils on the treatment area.
- Do not use deodorant or antiperspirant before the procedure.
- Having an active tan less than 10 days before the procedure.
Contraindications
It is prohibited to undergo a laser hair removal procedure if you have:
- Metal implants in the treatment area
- Diabetes mellitus in a decompensated stage
- Skin damage at the epilation site
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Oncological diseases
- Autoimmune diseases
- Fungal infections
- Use of retinoids within 6 months prior to the procedure
